Life is lived in the present. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is yet to be. Today is the miracle.

Yoga and Lacey
For me, Yoga started as a form of exercise. A way to make myself more healthy and strong as life began to weigh on my body and mind. As I continued going to yoga class, Yoga became so much more than just a practice that I attending once or twice a week. It gave me way to find and calm my mind, breath and life in this fast moving world we live in. It is a way to create positive energy which resonates into the rest of the world, contributing to growing efforts for peace. I find it prevents deterioration in my body and mind as I live out this existence. When I began my practice, Yoga started and ended on the mat. With time yoga has been interwoven into daily life and has created many opportunities for personal growth. Yoga enlivened my life and in turn I will attempt to spread the overwhelming benefits yoga has to offer to whoever would like to participate in the yogic lifestyle. Yoga has been an essential part of my life since 2000 and I have had the privilege of sharing yogic knowledge with others since 2007. I am honored to forever thank my fabulous teachers who have been with me on this exciting journey: My First teacher Martina Wilson at RCC, you motivated me to make myself healthier and I thank you. Gina Decker who is of strength and light and last but not least Doug Moss, you are the peace you bring to everyone around you. And of course the rest of Green Tara Yoga, it is a wonderful community to be a part of.
Life and Education
Finding my breath was a main concentration in my practice for many years. Maintaining that breath creates balance in my life and on my mat. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology and have a passion for holistic wellness and health. I am currently in the Eco-Psychology Master's program at Naropa University. My hopes are to further my education and share the natural world with others. I am also a certified Colon Hydrotherapist and love sharing this work with others. There is so much to learn about the colon and the way in which we can help maintains it's health. If you have any questions about this please visit www.natureworkstherapy.com
I believe your breath can be your best friend in the most trying times of life and a breathing practice is made the focus in every class. I am happily married to my very best friend who is inspiring and supportive.
Personal Thought
We get this existence once, this body and mind once. We get our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and our very best of friends only once. Love them, laugh with them, support them, dance with them, hug and kiss them always, having in mind that we only get this once, within this existence. What happens when we conclude our cycle is inconsequential because that will be when it is. Live present in the moments you are given. Thanks for reading and sharing with me.
